Help us understand Indian youths' health behaviours better

Take part in this research study on the use of common substances and health behaviours among Indian youths. Your small effort would go a long way in creating knowledge that can be useful in helping those with substance use and related issues.

You will have to answer some questions on a digital survey which will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your responses will be anonymized and kept completely confidential. Details of ethical standards and participants' rights have been given on first page of the survey

Summary of the research study: The use of tobacco, alcohol and cannabis is at an all time high in India and every year millions of youths take up one or more of these three drugs. Polysubstance use, or concurrent/ simultaneous  use of the two or more substances at a time presents higher risks of progression to dependence/ addiction and also negative consequences related to the subjects. This study is an exploration of risk factors at individual, interpersonal and social levels that influence substance use initiation and polysubstance use during young adulthood (18-28 years). Procedures of the study approved by Research Conduct and Ethics Committee (RCEC), Center for Research, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore (CU:RCEC/00256/12/21)
